I am watching a video of myself riding a bike on a hot summer day. The streets are empty and I shout 'Look mum no hands!' whilst waving my arms up in the air... the images are blurred and at times in black and white. This is the scenery this record reminds me of.
This album is a total chiller with its lo-fi vocals and summery electric guitars mixed with a hint of melancholia and light psychedelia.
The Canadian trio scored a 10/10 with this amazing LP. Do yourself a favour, press play and cycle through it when the sun is shining.
- The not real lake 'but what is certain is i am forgetting and that is a blessing, angry weather in my head'.
- Bowlly goes dancing drunk into the future 'this morning i awoke and read the words that you wrote they were different from what you spoke and it was there you declared all love is unfair'
